Zyter and OneScreen Partner to Implement Next-Generation Smart Warehouse

warehouse Private LTE and 5G

Vertical: Warehouse, Logistics

Application: Warehouse management system, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), AR/VR, IoT

Ecosystem:  Zyter, OneScreen, Qualcomm

Private Network: LTE, CBRS

In a move set to revolutionize warehouse operations, Zyter has announced its collaboration with OneScreen to implement a state-of-the-art smart warehouse in San Diego. This facility will leverage Qualcomm Technologies’ innovative products and Zyter’s advanced IoT solutions to create a truly next-generation logistics hub.

The smart warehouse project for OneScreen is designed to incorporate a wide array of advanced technologies. At its core, a private LTE network using CBRS spectrum will provide robust connectivity throughout the facility. This network will be powered by Qualcomm’s RAN Platforms for Small Cells and feature customer premises equipment (CPE) based on Qualcomm’s Fixed Wireless Access Platform, with a clear upgrade path to 5G in the future.

Zyter’s contribution to the project is substantial. The company will be responsible for implementing its Smart Warehouse module, which runs on the Zyter SmartSpaces™ IoT platform. This platform is designed to break down information silos by integrating and consolidating data from various IoT devices and applications into a seamless interface. Additionally, Zyter will manage the deployment of the LTE private network and oversee the integration of all hardware, sensors, and the warehouse management system (WMS).

The benefits of this smart warehouse are expected to be significant. OneScreen anticipates increased operational efficiencies, automated inventory control, enhanced safety and security within the facility, and substantial time and cost savings for both employees and customers.

Sufian Munir, CEO of OneScreen, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This next-generation smart warehouse will increase productivity, enable automated inventory control, safety and security within the facility and save time and money for employees and customers.”

This project is a prime example of how Qualcomm’s IoT ecosystem is driving the global digital transformation of industries. By leveraging the growing number of smart devices at the connected edge, Qualcomm and its partners are creating solutions that can be deployed more quickly and efficiently than ever before.

Sanjay Govil, founder and CEO of Zyter, highlighted the nature of this project, saying, “Bringing IoT, artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies to warehouses takes operations to a level never seen before.”
