 The Connected Systems Institute (CSI) at Wisconsin-Milwaukee is deploying a private 5G wireless network with the aid of US Cellular, Ericsson, and Rockwell Automation. The network will use both 4G and 5G and will let the university and industry “develop, test and ideate on innovative Industry 4.0 manufacturing solutions around applications like drive automation, intelligence, and control.”
