Volkswagen has brought in Nokia to install a 5G private network in their Wolfsburg, Germany factory to test whether the high bandwidth and low latency offered by 5G will meet their goals of increasing efficiency and flexibility in the plant, which covers more than six square kilometers. Volkswagen is looking to create an intelligent network of robots and assembly tools.
