To ensure quality coverage of the coronation of King Charles III in London, the BBC R&D worked with Neutral Wireless to deploy a Private 5G wireless network. The BBC worked with Ofcom, the British communications regulatory agency, who assigned them 80 MHz of mid-band frequency. The network is designed to support up to 30 devices streaming HD-video. The network is intended to be dismantled after the coronation.
