Ecosystem:  Verizon

Private Network: 5G

The Tennessee Titans are getting Nissan Stadium in Nashville ready for this year’s NFL season with connectivity enhancements to the stadium in partnership with Verizon. Verizon is the NFL’s Official Private Wireless Network for Coach-to-Coach Communications and will be deploying networks at all 30 NFL stadiums for coaches to communicate with each other securely and reliably.

“With Verizon’s fast and reliable 5G network solutions, we’ll continue to bolster the experience for fans in the stadium and throughout the Nashville area, as well as provide dependable on-field coach-to-coach communications for teams on game day,” said Leigh Anne Lanier, Atlantic South Market President for Verizon.

The private 5G network will allow employees to opt into facial authentication for identity verification and streamline the customer ticketing experience, as well as provide superior capacity for fans of the NFL and other events held at Nissan Stadium.

“Fan experience is at the heart of everything we do at Nissan Stadium, and excellent cellular service is a huge part of that,” said Adam Nuse, Titans Chief Revenue Officer.

Update: As of September 11, 2023, all 30 NFL stadiums have implemented Verizon’s Private Wireless Network for Coach-to-Coach Communications.
