In the heart of the Las Vegas strip, the exclusive Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace faced a unique challenge – providing seamless connectivity for its high-end guests and operations within the confines of a dense, signal-obstructing environment. As demands for mobile data and applications surged, the existing infrastructure struggled to keep pace, threatening to turn this premier destination into a connectivity desert.
The solution came in the form of a neutral host network, leveraging OnGo private wireless technology from JMA Wireless. This innovative approach not only addressed the hotel’s immediate connectivity needs but also paved the way for a truly comprehensive and flexible solution.
At the core of this deployment is the multi-operator core network (MOCN) architecture, which allows multiple mobile network operators to share the same radio access network (RAN) infrastructure. Leveraging JMA’s private virtual RAN, Caesars Entertainment seamlessly integrated commercial services from both AT&T and T-Mobile into a single, active production system spanning the entire 10-story hotel.
The benefits of this deployment extend far beyond cellular coverage. The OnGo private wireless network also serves as a dedicated connection platform for modernizing housekeeping, facility management, and other guest service operations, utilizing 100 MHz of high-capacity CBRS connectivity throughout the hotel.
Fully operational since mid-2023, this multi-service NHN meets all in-building, regulatory, and operator-mandated security, operational, and emergency services requirements from two major carriers.
With multiple public operator services and simultaneous private services coexisting on this platform, the Nobu Hotel deployment represents a comprehensive and scalable neutral host solution.
