InfiniG Revolutionizes Hotel Connectivity with Innovative MCaaS Solution

Hotel Private LTE and 5G

Vertical: Hospitality

Application: Enhanced mobile coverage

Ecosystem:  InfiniG, Airspan, Druid

Private Network: CBRS

In an exciting move that promises to transform the hospitality industry’s approach to mobile connectivity, InfiniG has successfully deployed its Mobile Coverage as a Service (MCaaS) solution at the prestigious Gale South Beach Hotel in Florida. This innovative technology is set to redefine guest experiences by providing seamless, high-quality mobile coverage throughout the property.

The hospitality industry has long grappled with the challenge of providing reliable in-building mobile coverage, especially in boutique hotels. InfiniG’s MCaaS solution addresses this issue head-on, offering a shared infrastructure model that allows multiple mobile network operators (MNOs) to provide their services on a single, shared network within the building.

“Instead of relying on individual mobile network operators to provide separate infrastructures, MCaaS introduces a shared infrastructure model,” InfiniG explains on its website. “This neutral host system allows multiple MNOs to offer their services on a singular, shared network within a building, ensuring comprehensive and seamless coverage for all users, irrespective of their individual network providers.”

The InfiniG MCaaS solution comprises two key components:

  • Advanced on-site hardware that provides robust mobile coverage throughout the hotel
  • A cloud-based platform that manages and optimizes mobile network performance

This innovative approach integrates Airspan’s advanced Radio Access Networks (RAN) and Druid’s

MOCN Gateways, ensuring multi-carrier support and 5G-readiness. The result is a future-proof solution that elevates the guest experience to new heights.

InfiniG first presented its shared-network, in-building wireless technology at the Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas last fall. The technology, which integrates the CBRS shared spectrum to create a neutral host service, caught the attention of industry leaders and paved the way for its deployment in real-world settings.

The implementation of InfiniG’s MCaaS solution at the Gale South Beach Hotel brings numerous benefits:

  • Visitors enjoy instant access to their cellular service without the hassle of connecting to Wi-Fi or dealing with login screens.
  • The system accommodates a wide range of mobile carriers, including major networks and their MVNO partners.
  • Consistent mobile coverage throughout the property ensures that guests can always reach emergency services if needed.
  • Reliable, high-speed mobile connectivity contributes to a more enjoyable stay, potentially leading to repeat visits and positive reviews.
