In a move set to supercharge Hong Kong’s smart city ambitions, NTT Com Asia has unveiled the docomo 5G DX Square, the city’s first innovation lab powered by a localized private 5G network. This initiative marks a significant milestone in Hong Kong’s technological landscape, offering a high-performance sandbox for local innovators to develop cutting-edge AI, edge computing, and private 5G applications.

- NTT Com Asia is the first service provider to receive the Localized Wireless Broadband System (Private) License from Hong Kong’s Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA).
