Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Gets Faster… Connectivity

Vertical: Sports

Application: Ticket scanning, digital signs, POS terminals

Ecosystem:  Verizon

Private Network: 5G

Verizon has equipped the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens with a private wireless 5G network to accommodate the large influx of people expected at this year’s Crypto.com Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. With an estimated quarter of a million visitors, their solution guarantees strong, fast performance and protected data privacy for both ticket scanning and digital signage management. The race will be held on May 5-7, 2023, at the Miami Grand Prix track at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

The private network will facilitate real-time communication between race team members and venue staff and will provide venue management with tools such as ticket scanning and digital sign management and spectators with faster download and upload speeds, low latency, and increased network capacity.
