Cowtown Coliseum in Ft. Worth, TX, is getting a hybrid connectivity network with the aid of Boldyn Networks, the Stockyards Heritage Development Co., the Professional Bull Riders organization, and ASM Global, a venue management company. The Coliseum holds weekly rodeos as well as concerts and other sporting events.
The new private network will be a blend of various communication technologies including a Distributed Antenna System (DAS), that will provide coverage for all three major US carriers, Wi-Fi 6E, and the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS).
Future applications will include AR/VR experiences, helmet cams, and wireless roping chutes.
