The Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), one of five operators at the only port in Jordan, will deploy a private 5G network with the aid of Orange Jordan. Once operational, it will be the first private 5G network in the country for business customers, as well as the first for Orange Jordan customers in the Middle East and Africa. This step aims to address ACT’s needs and business requirements by leveraging Orange Jordan’s global expertise and delivering cutting-edge technologies and solutions. The hope is that the network will attract new investments to the region.
