American Tower has deployed a private 5G standalone network at Miracle Mile Shops, a top shopping and entertainment venue in Las Vegas. Miracle Mile Shops provides an ideal location to demonstrate innovative 5G use cases tailored to an indoor retail environment.
By collaborating with technology partners, American Tower launched this advanced private 5G platform to support digital transformation at Miracle Mile Shops. The network will accelerate the development of low-latency retail services and applications, from POS systems to venue security, energy efficiency, and more. The network advances the venue’s digitalization efforts, empowering them to stay ahead of retail industry technology trends.
The strategic collaboration aims to unlock new 5G benefits unique to an in-building retail space while showcasing a model for digital transformation.
