Adoption of 5G Private Networks Peaks in Manufacturing Sector

A comprehensive survey by the Manufacturing Institute in 2021 entitled, “How 5G is Transforming the Manufacturing Landscape”, confirms that the industry is fully convinced of the value of private networks, whether CBRS, mid-band of network slicing, for the commercialization of a slew of use cases. Nearly all manufacturers (91%) believe 5G connectivity will be important to the overall future of their business, with three-fifths (61%) indicating it will be “extremely important. Nine in ten manufacturers also expect the utilization of 5G to lead to the creation of new processes (88%) and the creation of new businesses (86%)
